Watercolor.
Approximately...10 hrs?

The young man is Dagel, but apparently slightly older than usual. He appears to be about 11 most of the time, while here he is intended to look about 15.
He also doesnt usually have a load of wings on him. The wings were an idea given to me by a commission a few months ago... someone asked me to draw an archangel with six wings... which i did, but was extremely uninspired to, and i never thought of posting it on dA. Well, this time i was inspired to.
Strange how inspiration never seems to come when you really need it?

This is the first large "painting-qualifiable" peice ive done thats non-CG. Partly because i dont get the time to be around my computer as i used to, and i am craving to do more fantasy paintings, so i did it at school, in our sadly equipped art room.
Its all watercolor except for the tears...yes, there are tears if you look closely. That was because honestly i forgot to paint them in the original.

paper size 54x39cm. i had to scan the thing in six peices and paste them together on PS. the signature and border is PS too.

I used poster paints for the white and calligraphy ink for the black.
