So apparently art schools really, really enjoy having finals week as an excuse to execute mental and physical torture on their students.
I am currently living in New York again enjoying my ridiculously long Thanksgiving slash Christmas slash New Years break. So I have justly made up for the brain damage college has inflicted upon me by a good Thanksgiving week of partying. Otherwise I have also been desperately looking for a job... apparently part-time minimum-wage job slots arent exactly swarming the streets in the middle of Manhattan.
I've again finally gotten around to reorganizing my gallery, and i've split most of my sketches to my scrapbook gallery.
From now on I will be posting whatever messy sketchbook work I have in scraps; I've realized that theres alot of roughs that I'd love to post anyway and I really think dA should enable multiple galleries in a single account.

I've took my time to catch up on movies as well. Beowulf was not bad... minus the fact that my most vivid memory of the night was the fact I paid 14 bucks to see it (Hitman was 13 bucks- why?). Technical-wise, since I feel picky today, their expressions could have been done a whole lot better, as well as clothing, etc. Personally I say Grendel's mother's design could have been more exotic. However the filming was done more than excellently
I finally got to see the Solid State Society movie! Definitely a go see it!, however it really will be confusing if you've never seen the GITS anime series. Now in searching for the 2006 movie I accidentally saw Innocence, which I recall is the 2001 movie, and which is not reccomended... besides from very good visuals, the film kind of drags on, and is quite psychotic if not bogglingly confusing. No spoilers, so I'll just say I like how Solid State Society did a good wrap-up to the way the second anime series ended.
Also I saw Blood the Last Vampire, another Production I.G. film. I hated the anime to death, but the movie's visuals and action was srsly I.G. at its best. Besides from being something like 45 minutes long, its very cool. So, vampires and guts and swords, as well as a main character with Angelina Jolie style lips- what else could you ask for?
Oh and I forgot to mention- I turned 18 a while ago!
I'm having a hard time finding something as well. All the graduates are hogging all the on campus positions so there's not too much left for freshies. Food service...I'd take it as a last resort, but I'm looking for something more technical, IT support or something...
Are you staying there for new years? You gotta check out that ball thingy that comes down, it's gonna be hella crowded though. Congrats on the page views!
You know that part where Tougasa was hacked and he went through the damn sequence entering the creep's house with Batou like 5 times? I had to rewatch that twice to get it. along with the rest of the movie. and i didnt even bother to get what that girl with braids was doing in the storyline.
allright, maybe I should just watch it again
